Easy Floral Watercolor card

For this card I used all Hero Arts Products. I stamped the Togetherness floral bouquet onto Bristol cardstock with Versafine black and added clear Embossing powder on top.  I then used a combination of Tombow markers in blues,lavenders and purples to get a multi-colored look. I used a lime green for the leaves and added some shimmer pen to the flowers. 

The Sentiment was Hero Arts Thanks Stamp & Cut, a set i use ALOT! 

For the Background i stamped Hero Arts Script Background stamp onto Neenah Epic black 130lb cardstock from cutcardstock using Hero Arts Unicorn white pigment ink.

I can not recommend this cardstock enough. Its FABULOUS! So smooth and black. Its amazing!

 I added a lavender mat onto a  110lb neenah cardstock cardbase. A few pearls from Trinity Stamps to match and its done.

I made a 2nd card in a similar way but i heat embossed the Background in clear and changed up the colors and Sentiment.

Easy Slimline Card

I love making Slimline cards and they are so popular now. 

So for this one I used Hero Arts Monarch Butterfly which gives incredible realistic results. 

I started off stamping the bottom layer in the light color, next layer in a darker shade (same color family) and the final outline in black. It would be great embossed too! I used Catherine Pooler & Hero Art Inks.

I die cut each butterfly, I lined them up how I wanted them to be and I used Glad Press n Seal to pick them up as a whole. I then added foam tape.

I die cut my panel from Trinity Stamps Quilted Cover die and added the polka dots from the Quilted trio coordinating stencil set in gray ink. 

My card base is 110lb Neenah from Cutcardstock  and measures 3.5" x 8.5".  I added a black mat slightly smaller. And my Quilted panel a bit smaller than that.

I adhered the butterflies to my panel and added some shimmer pen for some sparkle. I added Trinity Stamps unicorn tears gems for some more sparklie goodness (love those gems...drooling)

My sentiment was heat embossed using Versafine onyx with Clear embossing powder from WOW!.

Holographic Candycanes

Im pretty obsessed with Holographic cardstock and its very popular lately. 🤩

For this card I started off with Epic Black 130lb Neenah cardstock from Cutcardstock.

I stamped Spellbinders candy canes with Hero Arts unicorn white randomly. 

Then I used the coordinating dies and used a bone folder to make the embossed lines.  

I added foam to the back and glued them together using press n seal to keep them as 1 unit. 

I trimmed my panel down to a wee bit over 5.25"x4.0" and added a white border and mounted in onto Cutcardstock 130lb Epic Black Neenah

I added 1 Holographic gem from Trinity Stamps (bubble bath) to the center of the bow.

The sentiment us the Reverse Christmas sentiment strips from SSS.

FAST WASHI tape Cards

Lets face it, some recipients will receive their card, read it and toss it. Therefore a quick, easy card is needed. 

I used some festive washi tapes here.

I added my tape to 80lb Neenah cardstock from cutcardstock. Then die cut it from Michaels Recollections tree set. Then I used a DecoColor gold pen for the edges of my trees and for my ink blended background which I used Whimsy Stamps Brick background stencil. 

I chose Fog reactive ink because it matched the green on the washi tape. I added foam tape to the back of my trees for dimension. The sentiment strips are from SSS. I used the gold paint pen on that too, carefully not to smudge it. 

I repeated the above with a different washi tape. And thats it.

Dark Background Stamping

 Hi, Thanks for stopping by! For this card I'm using SSS Autumn Leaves Stamp to create this card. I love leaves stamps and this one is a beauty.

I brightened this photo so you  can see the shimmer I added. Otherwise its not visible in pics.

To start off I stamped the leaves onto 110lb Neenah Cardstock with Tuxedo Black memento ink.

I colored them VERY simply with copic markers (2 or 3 shades of each color)

I then grabbed a dark blue and colored in the background. I made sure to use a marker I had a refill for and that was nice and filled. You don't want a streaky dry marker.😬

Once the background was done I sprayed it with my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE SHIMMER Spray EVER! Sparkle Shimmer Spray. I spray it about 10 inches away from my panel and wave the panel into the spray mist to ensure a light even distribution of shimmer. Otherwise you are likely to get some droplets which I did not want for this project. Its really hard to see the sparkle in pics but in person its gorgeous!

Then I die cut THANK YOU from some Holographic cardstock and also die cut it from some Fun foam with Scrapbook.com double side adhesive on the back. 

I added some Trinity Stamps Bubble Bath Gems which are holographic and match perfectly to the sentiment.

I mounted my panel onto a piece of Martha Stewart Navy Cardstock which matched perfectly.

Autumn Rainbow Stamp & Stencil😍

I live leaf cards so when Trinity Stamps xame out woth Autimn Rainbow stamp,stencil and die set I had to have it. I didnt use the die set here. 

But the stamp and stencil made this card a breeze. 

I used the Autimn rainbow stencil with some oxides (Fossilized Amber,  Victorian velvet, peeled paint and stormy sky) for the leaves on 110lb Neenah Cardstock from Cutcardstock.

I then stamped the "veins" with Versamark ink and used WOW Gold embossing powder.  I used a Gold Deco pen for the edges on the panel.  

I added a strip of vellum and my gold foil cardstock sentiment on top. Added Trinity Stamps Gorgeous Gold baubles and thats it.

Thank you Autumn Slimline Card

Its A SlimLine Card Craze!

🍁🍁Hi! Thanks for stopping by! For this card I started off with a 3.5" x 8.5" panel of Bristol Cardstock. I masked off the sides about 1/2" on each side. 

I stamped Autumn Leaves 🍁images from Simon Says Stamp onto my panel with Versafine Onyx and Embossed it using WOW clear Embossing powder.

Once all of my images were stamped I watercolored the images using Tombow Markers. 

I used a water brush and the markers, that's it! easy peasy.

I then removed my masking strips. I cut a piece of gold cardstock from Recollections (yes, a Michaels brand) because its the same foil cardstock I matted under my panel which is an 1/8" smaller than my card base. And my panel is 1/8" smaller than the foil mat. Once I CAREFULLY glued my gold foil strips down I moved onto stamping my sentiment "Hexagon Greetings" also from Simon Says Stamp in Gold Embossing powder from WOW as well.

I put foam tape under my sentiment and used some Metallic Thread in Gold from Altenew underneath to hold it in place for some Gold accents. Last step was to add some Gold baubles from Trinity Stamps. Love them!

The envelope was made from a piece of 8.5"x11" Dark Red cardstock from Cutcardstock. I will have a quick video coming up soon on how I did it. So fast, so easy and sooooo affordable. Just my style, lol!
